Casino Hotels

Large hotels with rooms, restaurants and event space, where the gaming floor sits alongside everything else the property offers.

01

Montreal Casino & Hotel

Montreal, Canada

Set on Île Notre-Dame, the property is best known for its striking modernist form — the main structure grew out of pavilions built for a world exposition — and for the river and city views that come with the island position. It operates as a full hotel, with rooms, dining and event space arranged for stays that have nothing to do with gaming.

The gaming floor is one facility among several, spread across multiple levels of the main building. Guests in the hotel reach the restaurants, the terraces and the surrounding parkland of the island without passing through it.

  • Island setting on Île Notre-Dame
  • Modernist expo-era architecture
  • Gaming floor among several facilities
02

Fallsview Casino Resort

Niagara Falls, Canada

The resort sits on the escarpment above the falls, and the elevation defines the property: a large share of the guest rooms look directly out over the water. It is a substantial hotel first, with a theatre, a spa, conference floors and a long run of restaurants.

The casino floor occupies the lower levels of the complex. Around it the resort behaves like any large destination hotel — busiest in summer, tied closely to the pedestrian routes along the gorge.

  • Escarpment position above the falls
  • Theatre, spa and conference floors
  • Gaming floor on the lower levels
03

River Rock Casino Resort

Richmond, Canada

River Rock stands on the Fraser River in Richmond, close to the airport and connected to the regional rail line, which makes it a practical base as well as a resort. The hotel side includes a show theatre, several restaurants and a marina on the river frontage.

Its gaming floor is one of the larger ones in the region, but the property is laid out so that the hotel entrance, the theatre and the waterfront can be used independently of it.

  • Fraser River frontage with marina
  • Near the airport and rail line
  • Show theatre and restaurants
04

Casino Rama Resort

Rama, Canada

Rama sits inland near Lake Couchiching, built on and operated in partnership with the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, and it functions as a self-contained resort: hotel towers, a large entertainment venue, spa facilities and a spread of restaurants on one site.

The entertainment hall is the property's signature — a room sized for touring acts, which brings a steady flow of guests who book for the concert rather than the gaming floor.

  • Resort operated with the Chippewas of Rama First Nation
  • Large touring-scale entertainment venue
  • Spa and multiple restaurants on site
